EDUCATION

Jessica Olivarez is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner accredited through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has experience in a multitude of medical settings, including medical-surgical, pediatrics and long-term care. Jessica has been afforded the opportunity to care for patients in all stages of life. She has an outstanding academic background that includes a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing where she graduated with highest honors of Magna Cum Laude and a Master of Science in Nursing from the Family Nurse Practitioner Program of University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston with Cum Laude recognition. Jessica has most recently completed a post-masters in Emergency Trauma services at The University of Texas Health Science Center.

APPROACH TO MEDICINE

She began her career in healthcare nearly fifteen years ago by working in various areas of patient care such as lab technician, medical assistant, emergency medicine nurse, pediatric trauma nurse, critical care nursing, now specializes in Cardiology as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

PERSONAL LIFE
Jessica is a Texas native and was raised in South Texas where she enjoys fishing as a hobby. She enjoys spending time with her partner and three kids.
